Cherry Blossom Vacations supports families by offering them the opportunity to vacation at our vacation home for no-cost. Our home is supported by fundraising and the use of the home as a traditional rental for a small portion of the year. Families who have adopted, fostered, or have a child with a disability are invited to apply for a stay of up to one week each year. Those families who experience an unusual amount of stress due to financial constraints, physical or mental disabilities, or trauma will be given priority. Families complete an application and pay a refundable deposit upon acceptance of their vacation stay.

When the home is not being used for family or rental vacations, it will be used for events to host day events for families to meet. Another issue for families who have adopted, fostered, or have a child with a disability is feeling isolated. Using the home for events helps build community and friendships that can last a lifetime. Children who may feel different will get to see others who look and feel like them. Siblings can build friendships with other kids who understand their life and parents can build community and learn from other parents. We would love to have you volunteer to host or help with a family day if you are local to the Eastern Maryland area.
